Check them out! So far we have only participated in two contests, Sports and Emotions. We did not do so well in either! :(.

see i'm not the only one. yes there are no rules on 'advertising' in the contest, but give me a break.
whenever you put a brand name (or a name of the magazine in this case) it's advertizing. guess what sometimes you don't have to put a name on it and it's still advertizing. there are companies with excellent marketing teams that managed to associate a product with a symbol.

it's ok to advertize, perfectly fine. it was just not the right place to do it. this is a sports contest not 'cover page of the magazine' contest.

p.s. i did read the description to understand why in the world you would post it. and if the magazine is not called baraban anymore, but 'odesskiy listok' (big oop you changed the name) then you should have cut the head.
this is my opinion of course, so who cares right?

I read the rules several times before posting this picture. I do not see how it would violate the rules. Even if advertising was against the rules, this cover would be OK, as our publication is no longer called Baraban.Com Magazine. It is now, "Odesskiy Listok," instead.

Don't you affraid about disqualification from the contest? It is pure advertising of your brand magazine.
I hope - fotki.com thinks other than me ;) and they'll give you 'green light' for this - picture is great (BTW).
